Public sector identifies its most important challenges, that can be solved using technologies. GovTech Lab helps to evaluate and define the challenges and prepare for the challenge competition.
The public sector challenges are published in a form of an open call for proposals. Proposals can be submitted by anyone, including academia, startups, SMEs ,that meet the challenge’s requirements.
3. ACCELERATION OF THE BEST SOLUTIONS
GovTech Lab together with the challenge owner and experts in the field select the best proposal for each challenge. Prizes and testing or contract opportunities are awarded to the best solution creators.

Deadline to submit your pitch
The solution should meet the criteria set by the challenge owner and the expectations expressed during the Workshop Day. Make sure that you are able to continue working on this solution, in case your idea is selected and the challenge owner wants to buy the finished product. Submit your ideas with a minimum bid offer until September 10. If you have any questions, contact the challenge owner or the GovTech Lab team.
GOVTECH BALTIC LEADERS | PITCH DAY
We invite you to present your ideas at the GovTech Baltic Leaders Conference & Pitch Day. A committee - made of the challenge owners, investors and accelerators - will evaluate your pitch. The winners from each challenge will then be selected to further develop their product and will receive prizes, including monetary awards, mentorship from the challenge owner, invitations to BuildStuff Conference @ Vilnius and a participation in GovTech Incubator for further product development by January 2020.

All the teams, startups, academics and companies are invited to develop prototypes for the selected challenge. All the best teams from Pitch Day participate in the GovTech Incubator programme.
GovTech Incubator is a programme which aims to develop the best ideas from the Pitch Day. The incubator consists of classes covering different topics (from business growth to branding), mentoring with professionals from leading IT companies, meetings with challenge owners and a workspace for 3 months period.
Demo Day featureed presentation of developed product. This event brought together challenge owners and other relevant stakeholders, including investors and accelerators looking for innovative startups. You can participate in Demo Day even if you haven't participated in Pitch Day.
